The Lebowitz Comics site is a portfolio site, specializing in innovative, original artwork for companies and individuals. Projects are ultimately seen on websites and in print. Robert is based in Riverdale, New York.

Robert Lebowitz has worn many hats in his career including high school English teacher and webmaster for a human rights organization. His anchor has always been his artwork and illustrations. Lebowitz holds a Bachelor degree from Brown University, a Masters degree from Lehman College, and recently completed a Masters in Social Work from the Wurzweiler school of Social Work at Yeshiva University. While not illustrating the editorial page for the Riverdale Review, Lebowitz applies his artistic skills to improving the lives of others with his 'Bikur Cholim (Visiting the Sick) Cartoons'.

Lebowitz, who was also a student at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, has illustrated for the New York Sun and L Magazine and for the last 10 years published a political comic strip in the Riverdale Review and the Bronx Press Review.

He first began drawing cartoons at the age of seven, inspired by the Dick Tracy comic strip and his father’s doodles on telephone messages. While Lebowitz attended Brown University for an undergraduate degree in English and art, he received his formal training in illustration by taking classes at the nearby Rhode Island School of Design.

Robert Lebowitz has written extensively on Human Rights, Technology, and on current events in his Riverdale hometown. His work has appeared in The Digital Freedom Network website, The Riverdale Review, The Bronx Press, as well as re-printed and translated for numerous other publications and websites.
